All students at Mar Vista Middle School are members of the Associated Student Body(A.S.B.) Four Officers are elected and several Commissioners are appointed in April/May as 7th Graders to act as the Executive Council of the ASB for the next school year to represent ALL students at MVM. These students handle the day-to-day decisions regarding the Student Store and help coordinate activity programs at MVM such as lunchtime activities, dances, assemblies, special events, field trips, award ceremonies/programs, incentive programs and other campus-wide activities. These programs are implemented and organized to help promote and support students' academic success at MVM and increase a positive Viking School Culture.
